Community investment is at the heart of Identity Consult’s philosophy. We recognise the general economic benefits our schemes bring to local communities and we believe we have a fundamental duty to support the communities in which we work. For us, it is about putting something back into the areas that have helped our business grow: it is about sharing in our success.

One of the community projects we are most proud of is how Identity Consult have helped generate £750,000 of social value through establishing a Community Interest Company in Shildon, County Durham in partnership with Sunderland AFC Foundation of Light. This uses the power of football to engage with young people and to help them back into work, education and to promote healthier lifestyles. This demonstrates that we not only have ambitions to help less fortunate members of our community but have a track record in realising those ambitions, something that we are really proud of.

For a number of years, Identity Consult has supported the Percy Hedley Foundation, a registered charity which plays a crucial role in the lives of disabled children, young people, adults and their families, with their aim being for people with disabilities to achieve their ambitions, to be as independent as possible and lead full and active lives.

As a business we ask our staff to choose a charity of choice to support every year to ensure that as an organisation we give something to the charities which are close to those that give so much to Identity Consult.

And finally, every year we offer our team a charity volunteer day, where our staff can take a working day out of the office to support a charity of their choice.
