Description

Identity Consult has been commissioned by Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council (TMBC) to provide project management services for the delivery of the Denton Town Centre Regeneration programme. Funded through the Levelling Up Fund (LUF), the project focuses on revitalising Denton’s town centre and existing assets to strengthen economic resilience and enhance the quality of the public realm for residents, businesses, and visitors.

The programme comprises of a series of interlinked projects, including public realm improvements, the refurbishment of Denton Town Hall, and the conversion of Festival Hall from office accommodation to residential use. Together, these interventions form part of a wider strategic vision to create a more attractive, accessible, and vibrant town centre that better serves the local community and supports long-term growth.

We are appointed to support the client through the planning, coordination, and delivery of this complex, multi-stakeholder regeneration programme. Working closely with each project team, we ensure that project programmes aligned with LUF milestones and outcomes, while providing robust oversight of risk, cost, and change control to ensure value for money and compliance with funding requirements.
