Identity Consult prioritises healthcare with appointment of new non-executive director Bev Reid

The construction consultancy says the move reflects the need to ensure Identity Consult stays at the forefront of healthcare-related developments and to ensure it is constantly adapting and responsive to the changing needs of its healthcare clients.

Bev joins the board after an extensive career in the NHS working at a local, regional and national level in mental health, children’s, community and acute services.

With significant senior management experience gained in operational, commissioning, policy and strategy roles, Bev is well-placed to contribute to and support Identity Consult’s delivery in the sector.

Bev’s record of working in the NHS across the North East and Yorkshire with established networks at a senior level across health and care, means we benefit from the latest ideas and thinking.”

Since retiring from the NHS, Bev has continued to be actively involved in healthcare in a variety of consultancy and advisory roles which includes the healthcare team at law firm, Ward Hadaway. After serving as a trustee for several years, she is also acting as interim chief executive with North East charity, Dementia Matters and said: “I remain passionate about the health and care sector and recognise only too well the importance of the built environment in the provision of high-quality services. I am delighted to be supporting Identity Consult – a company that has always impressed me with its positive and inclusive approach.
