Description

Identity Consult were appointed in early 2010 by Muse Developments as Employer’s Agent (Contract Administrator) for a multi-phase residential development to be constructed as part of the regeneration of the North Shore area of the River Tees in Stockton-on-Tees.

The project was split into 3 distinct phases; 50 units in Phase 1, 76 units in Phase 2 and 82 units in Phase 3. Phase 1 and 2 are now complete and Phase 3 started on site in March 2016. Practical Completion is scheduled for November 2019. All phases offer predominantly private executive housing with an element of affordable provision on both Phase 1 and Phase 3.

The design of the properties incorporates contemporary living which has won awards. Most house types include balconies and / or terraces and the site is orientated to maximise the views of the River Tees. The external works are based on a home zone ethos, blurring the lines between roads and footpaths to create a safer environment for all residents and a public open space provides a play area for younger children and link to the river Tees.

The project has been procured on a Design & Build basis and is administered via a bespoke form of contract.
