Identity Consult is acting as pre-construction Project Manager for Salford Council, supporting in bringing forward 5 sites for delivery of new housing across the borough. The role included reviewing options and making recommendations on the procurement of the design team and Contractor, managing the design team through planning submission for the first 3 sites and producing pre construction service agreement to allow the design and build contractor to progress the next steps. We are currently negotiating 2nd stage tenders across all sites to allow the Council to meet its Homes England obligations of delivering over 200 new homes before 2022 and ensuring that the various site constraints and risks are managed and mitigated. The first schemes are due to commence early in 2021 and are on track to complete within the agreed timescales.
